There are two tools for showing objects:
Objects - Show (Page) - access from the Objects palette or the Page palette
Objects - Show (Background) - access from the Objects palette or the Background palette

Use the Objects - Show tools to show all objects of a specified type on the current page or background.
Note: you can collapse this dialog by clicking on the collapse graphic (
)
at the top of the screen and then expand it again by clicking the expand graphic (
).
