Magnifying Your Screen

Access this tool from the Alignment & Art palette or from a custom palette or custom menu that you have configured with the Magnify tool. |
Use the Magnify tool to magnify your screen at author or reader.
When you select the Magnify tool, your screen is magnified at 200% and you see the window shown below.
This window allows you to:
Change the magnification through the Magnification Power Controls
Move around your page using the blue Navigation Arrows without turning off your magnification
Focus in on a particular object on the page or background using the Magnification Object selection
Zoom in on a particular part of a selected object by clicking on the Magnification Object control grid
Your mouse cursor does not change; this allows you to continue to edit and move objects.
Note: you can collapse this dialog by clicking on the collapse graphic (
)
at the top of the screen and then expand it again by clicking the expand graphic (
).
