Editing User Properties
|
Access the User Property Editor from the Properties & Scripts palette, or from a custom palette or custom menu that you have configured with the User Property Editor tool. |
This editor makes it easy to view, edit, or add user properties. Use it to edit properties of:
The current background or page
Objects on the current background or page
The book
When you open the editor, it shows the user properties of the page. You can then select the "Current Background" or "Current Book" radio button if desired. To see the user properties of a particular object, use the Object Selection combo box to select an object or just select the object in author mode.
Note: when you select objects that have user properties when this editor is open, the cursor will momentarily turn into the one shown. |
|
Select a user property to see its value. You can edit the value and then click the Implement button or select Update from the File menu. Deleting any existing text and implementing or updating will delete the property. To add a new user property, click on the New User Property button.
