Copying Objects or Pages

Access this tool from the Objects palette or from a custom palette or custom menu that you have configured with the Objects/Pages - Copy tool. |
Use the Objects/Pages - Copy tool to copy either a page or selection to another page. This feature copies the page or selection without using the clipboard. It also allows you to copy objects to multiple locations without leaving the current page.
When you click the button, the following dialog box opens.
To use this box:
Select whether you want to copy an entire page or the current selection.
If you want to copy a page, indicate its page number in the Pg From field.
Specify the Pg To page number. If you're copying a page, this will become the page number of the copied page. To copy a page to the last page of the book, specify the number that is one greater than the last page number. If you're copying a selection, Pg To is the number of the page where you want the selection copied.
Click the Copy button.
Note: you can collapse this dialog by clicking on the collapse graphic ()
at the top of the screen and then expand it again by clicking the expand graphic (
).

After copying, the utility gives you the choice of moving to the new page or staying on the current one.
