Writing Batch Content to a Database

The quickest way to write all content from your book to a source database is to use the Batch Tools.

The Batch Tools are available from the tool palette.

The Validate Object Names tool will check for duplicate names and unnamed objects. You can use it to generate a report or to actually rename any problem objects found.

The Select Objects tool lets you choose pages and backgrounds from your book and write their content (and the content of all their objects) to the current source database.

The Write Objects tool bypasses the object selection and just writes the content from all previously selected objects to the database.

Warning: When you do a batch write, the database is overwritten. Therefore all pages or backgrounds NOT selected for the write (and all objects on these pages and backgrounds) are DELETED from the database.
