Module

Progress Tracker may be configured to either start a module directly or to view a "menu" of modules via a front end book. Using a front end book allows the student to access a different module without logging in again. Both modules and front end books are associated with a database through the 'progressTrackerDatabaseID' property of the book. This matches up with the database ID assigned in Progress Tracker Reporter.

When the student selects a module directly or a front end book, she sees a dialog like the one shown below. If the module is set for open enrollment, then all students in the database will be displayed and the "New Student" button will be visible. If the module requires a password, that will be visible as well. If the module in not open enrollment, then only those students who have been assigned to the module (either directly or by virtue of being a member of a class) will be displayed. If the student starts up a front end book instead, then all students in the database are shown. The "New Student" button will be visible if at least one module is open enrollment. If all modules require a password, the Student Selection dialog will have a password field. If not, then the student will be prompted for any necessary password when they select a module from the front end book.

Once the student selects her name (or enters it if open enrollment), she sees a module as shown below.
