Setting Global Properties

Global Hotword Connection properties control four things:

• What type of text (rich or plain) is written to and read from your source database(s) for definitions that have a text setting of "use global."

• Whether or not rich text is stored for definitions that have a text setting of "plain text."

• Whether to identify hotwords by name or by text.

• Whether or not to allow for graphics in definitions.

 

These settings apply across all sources.
